Do you have a research project in contempotary philosophy ? Do you want to use English as a working language ? The Contemporay Philosophy Master offers an international course focused on contemporay philosophy debates and taught at the UMR STL (Knowl edge, Texts, Language research lab) and at the philosophy department.

Les + de la formation
The M2 Contemporary philosophy program in Lille is now coupled with a M1 in Philosophy taught entirely in English at the Univ. of Lisbon (Portugal) . Students following both years will earn a Master’s degree from both universities.
To enter this program, you must apply for the M1 program in Lille (with a research project written in English and a proof of your English level) .
Organisation
The Master contains two elements : Active involvement in 5 seminars (2 hours/week each) and 2 language courses (english or french) and Research thesis writing (minimum 75 pages) , under the supervision of a professor from the Philosophy Department. You will need to present your thesis in front of a jury.

EU citizens can run for the competitive exam to become a philosophy teacher in french highschools (Agrégation)
As this Master includes research training, you can, under certains conditions, further with a PhD.
